09-16-1989- Poplar Creek-- I feel lucky to possess a 10 year old audience copy of the show...this is easily the best Jerry Band show that I've heard (performance wise--the tape is B- quality), best Knockin' maybe ever by Jerry, Think is Stevie Ray Vaughn-esque in a Jerry sort of way...too bad no Reuben and Cherise, but who cares? Every song rocks...so if anybody has an upgrade they would like to share that would be most appreciated...tia : ) : ) : )

Clarence Clemons (sax)plays on this show

Stratocaster,i respect your opinions and trust your insights on picking out dates for certain versions of songs.give me a date for a Killer wharf rat(please be advised that im big on Jerrys vocals during this song and i already have the David Murray one. Also, what good Scarlet Fires do you recommend from the 90s(i think the Scarlet/ fire and Standing from 6-7-91 are the best hands down

regarding good 90s scarlet/ fires look to 03-22-90 (tight as a steel drum), 09-14-90, 03-21-91 (blazing), 10-01-94 (blows away 10-14 in my opinion)...

Wharf Rat is a song that they played consistently well throughout their career, the David Murray version is perhaps the best 90s version, I've always loved Jerry's vocals on 07-08-1978, 09-28-1972 is my favorite pre-retirement, 06-20-1983 is very inspired, 08-19-1989 is powerful, 07-18-1976 is classic and sweetly sung, 06-20-1987 Greek Theatre is great...Check out 02-27-1994 for one of the great 90s Wharf Rats and a HUGE version of UJB (I'm serious), comes after a monster Cosmic Charlie tease...

Standing on the Moon- 06-02-1995, 03-16-1994, 09-10-1991, 08-21-1993, 12-06-1989 (the fat man rocks this one big time)

06-07-1991 is a nice show, one of the first 1991 shows I got on tape, along with Omni April 3...Bob has some gritty effects on Fire that's pretty cool...SOTM Garcia gets the magic wand out on the closing jam...

There's no JGB here. Go to a trading site like db.etree.org to trade for shows. Good luck!
